Produce A-C 

Asparagus:

Our Asparagus will not be ready until 2014. We will are planting both the regular green and purple varieties.

Beets:
Storage:  Beets store best in the crisper of your fridge and will keep up to a week and a half. The greens will deteriorate much faster so if you want to eat those they should be cut 1-2 inches above the beet and get cooking!

Red Beets: Earthy and delish - especially in dessert form.  Beets and dark chocolate are great together!  Some of our other farvorites of are fried and roasted.

Yellow Beets: A more mild flavor than red beets.

Chioggia (pink and white) and Bulls Blood (light red and deep red):

Beans:
Storage: Keep all beans, Green, Cranberry, and Lima Beans in a bag in the fridge. 

Green Beans:

Wax Beans: 

Lima Beans:

Bok Choi:


Broccoli:

Storage:  For best quality eat with in 5 days of purchase.  Keep in fridge in ventilated plastic bag.

Brussels Sprouts:

Storage: When you get home remove the Brussels Sprouts from the stalk so they'll fit more easily in your fridge.  You should eat these as soon as possible after purchase - with in 3 days.   

One of my favorite things to eat! Roasted or sauteed with bacon crumbles turn these little gems into candy!



Cabbage:

Storage: Very similar to Brussels Sprouts.  Don't store wet and enjoy soon after purchase.

Asian Cabbage: 

Green Cabbage:

Red Cabbage:

Mini Cone Shaped Cabbage: Cute and tasty little cabbages are worth a try!

Cauliflower:

Storage: After purchase place in the fridge or if it's cold outside but not freezing you can store on your screened in porch. 


White: 



Purple:



Romanesco: 

Cucumbers:

Storage: Always put these guys in the fridge.  Wash them when you're ready to eat them and Enjoy!

Pickling Cucumbers:

Pickling cucumbers is easy and fun!  Refigorator pickles are delicious for snacking or on sandwiches.  Or break out your canning pot and get canning! If you are a canner ask about our canning discounts on large quantities of  produce.     

Storage: Same as Cucumbers.
