Mom's Pumpkin Pie

My Mom's cook book is a bit of a museum between two covers.  Yes, it is the Better Homes and Gardens "New" Cook Book but it's so much more.  It's newspaper clippings, magazine pages, photo copies, and hand written recipe cards.  There is no organization to it so it's all about the search for what you're looking for....and along the way you're bound to find a few other recipes you either completely forgot about or just have to try. 

I have gotten several questions about pumpkin pie recipes so I will share the recipe card my Mom has used...forever! I love this recipe card...when ever I see it sitting out I know pumpkin pie, squash pie, or sweet potato pie are soon to follow.  Why don't we hand write recipe cards anymore?  Along the same lines why don't we send hand written greeting cards just to catch up anymore?  It's something I want to do more of!
